Tonight (12/1/11) I’ll be performing at Laughs Comedy Spot in Kirkland WA as part of the annual ROBO show!  ROBO is a stand up comedy robot that I built and operate with stand up comedian Matthew Lauro.   In addition to ROBO I’ll be doing about 25 minutes of my One Man Side Show.  I haven’t figured out my exact set list, but I’m thinking I’ll be doing:

• Flea Circus
• Bubbles

And probably one or two other things that are new-ish in the show.   Also in the show will be Rick Kunkler and a couple of other special guests!

We’re now about a week into June and the school assembly performing season for me is almost over.  I’ve only got a  handful of assemblies left before it’s the super busy summer season.

Today I’m heading off to do my Reading Is Magic show at two school assemblies in Maple Valley, WA.

This morning I’m debuting something new in the show and I’m very excited about it!  What I’m adding is some stand up comedy for kids…but it’s stand up with a twist (you have to see it to understand what the twist is).

It’s always fun adding new things to the show!

Last night I performed at the Rendevous Jewel Box Theater in Seattle.  It’s a historic little theater in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood.  From what I understand this used to be a speakeasy during prohibition.  Last night I wasn’t performing my magic show, I was performing with my robot.

What I always love about theaters is the differences in green rooms and backstage areas. Some are very bland and some have a lot of character…like the Jewel Box Theater.  Here’s the green room:

Keep an eye out for Robo on a national television show this summer, I can’t talk about it until after it airs…
